Women and Children

Women and families represent the fastest growing groups of the homeless population in the United States. Among homeless families, 90 percent are led by a young single mother without familial support or material resources.  Some of the major factors of homelessness among American women include domestic violence, (of which women are the overwhelming victims,) poverty, lack of access to healthcare and family planning, and the role of women as the primary caregivers of children.  Our goal is to help impacted women and children lead more empowered, fulfilling lives.

Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation

Animal neglect is the failure to provide basic care required for an animal to thrive.   Our goal is to support organizations that give abused animals a second chance, restoring animals to good health and form, so they can be placed in loving homes with caring owners or allow them to live out their lives in dignity.

Global Sustainability: Our Oceans

The world’s oceans drive global systems that make the Earth habitable for humankind. Our rainwater, drinking water, coastlines, much of our food, and even the oxygen in the air we breathe, are all ultimately provided and regulated by the sea. Careful management of this essential global resource is a key feature of a sustainable future. However, there is a continuous deterioration of coastal waters due to thoughtless pollution.   Our goal is to contribute to the improved sustainability of one of the world's greatest natural resources.
